Some people believe that the increasing use of technology in our daily lives is making us less socially active in the real world. Others, however, argue that technology has actually expanded our social circles and improved communication.

Both views are correct, and they just focus different aspects of technologies. Technologies has enabled us to live a life without interacting with others very much and at the same time, also to get to know more people who we wouldn't make friends with otherwise.
There are many instances to illustrate those aspects, but one of the most impactful technologies is social media platform. With such socializing apps, many people have found funny friends and intriguing events outside their school or company.
